Operating principle
The monitor launches light into the probe and derives temperature from fluorescence decay time at the tip. Because the measured variable is lifetime, the method is designed to reduce sensitivity to optical intensity changes.
Installation approach
Protect the optical route from excessive bending, crushing and sharp edges. Position the sensing tip at the thermal point of interest and validate compatibility with insulation and manufacturing processes.
Communication and system integration
The probe is optical and connects to a compatible measurement instrument; communication is provided by that instrument.
Use the probe with an INNO monitor or sensing module selected for the required channel count and interface.
Typical Applications
Oil-immersed transformer windings

Technical questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the probe require a battery?
No. The measurement point is passive and optical.
What length should be specified?
The correct length depends on the equipment geometry, routing and service access. Confirm the final value on the project datasheet.
